I grew up in Pithoragarh, Uttarakhand, where Aipan has never been just an art form, but a quiet and deeply rooted tradition closely connected to everyday life, values, and culture.
I am a certified Aipan artist. I hold an M.Sc. in Chemistry and currently work as a school teacher. Alongside my responsibilities in education, I practice the traditional art of Aipan with sincerity, discipline, and reverence.
For me, Aipan is not just decoration, but a living tradition rooted in patience, balance, and cultural awareness. Each creation is carefully hand-crafted, carrying forward the true and authentic spirit of Kumaoni heritage.
