Kiran grew up in Ranikhet, where Aipan on the home threshold was a natural part of everyday life. Those simple white patterns became her first connection with tradition.
Over time, through observation and practice, she began exploring Aipan on different surfaces. What started at home slowly turned into a deeper understanding of the art and its meaning.
For Kiran, Aipan is not just design—it is a living tradition. Each creation reflects simplicity, faith, and the enduring spirit of Kumaoni culture.
