I’m Preeti Rautela, a traditional Aipan artist from Uttarakhand with a Master of Arts in Drawing & Painting from Almora University. My journey is rooted in learning, discipline, and deep respect for Aipan, the sacred folk art of Kumaon.
My hand-painted work reflects the spiritual essence of Kumaoni rituals, where every line and symbol carries devotion and meaning. For me, Aipan is more than decoration—it is a living cultural practice. Through my art, I aim to preserve Uttarakhand’s heritage and share its timeless beauty with every home.
